"I still have another one to make using a piece of mudguard which JonnyP has VERY kindly sent me but it a) won`t look as radically stunning and b) it will be cheap."

ha - soz mate but some of the lads would prefer a cheaper hugger so I will try, due to your kindness, to offer that option for them

I saw this on there stand at the nec, it does not protect the back of the swing arm or shock, so the swinger will get stone chipped to hell.

Mark, from underneath how wide is your hugger !

Mark and I have exchanged pm's re a decent alternative to the mudsling. I'll start a thread in the vendor section to see who would be interested in ordering one, subject to price and final design, so that Mark doesn't waste any time if nobody wants one.:thumb

Bit tie wrapped on

Part nos

46638545047 Left side

46638545048 Right side

46638545046 Retaining elements ...aka tie wraps

Anyone know if these fit the 2014 GSLC with ESA as the left side already has a small plastic cover in the place where these "mudguards"/infills fit on the left side?
BTW the standard BMW version of the mudsling fitted to 2014 bikes isn't very effective at keeping mud off the riders legs and the seats but does seem to keep a lot of it off the shock etc. I'm hoping these infills will keep some of this mud off rider and pillion, especially with the panniers fitted.

Yep they do ive just fitted em, work a treat with the mudsling!

When fitting the splash infills you remove the little cover on the left hand side, it pulls off.
