Huggered Up

hugger

HI regards to a hugger , been fed up with the amount of crap been thrown up from rear wheel and onto me and the bike ,decided to invest in the only soloution at the present time and buy a LIMBERGER hugger these are very pricey ,but work fantastic , just returned from ride today and lots of mud from farmers collecting spuds on the roads, but this cuts down the amount on bike dramaticaly ,and looks great , so well pleased .:thumb2

How easy/difficult was it to fit?

just remove rear wheel and the three screws on the diff housing, three replacement screws supplied , will post photo later ,

I noticed this morning that my regular (un)powered two wheeler, better known as a Boris Bike, has an excellent rear mudguard and side panel to prevent splashing of one's bespoke suit, when riding in less than perfect conditions. With a bit of a squint and in low light it may even be called a hugger.

Maybe BMW should take note, too?

production of Machineart Moto Mudsling for the LC starts in Feb '14. i got that info from Andrew at MM. i'm guessing they wont make it to these shores before March. :-(

Disappointing to say the least!

Might not use the bike much over the Winter, that's down to the salt not the wet, so wanted to get this sorted soon. Was waiting for the mudsling to hear the feed back before I decided between it and a hugger. Oh well might have to go for the BMW panels to start with?

Bit disappointed to hear the mudsling won't be around for a while. I'll have to think of something else Santa can get me and leave that to the Easter Bunny!

Get Mark Hooton to fabricate one in ally, send to a plastics company to make it. Don't wait for a US company :blast

hugger eh?

hugger eh? Never tried one tbh - any suggestions? (I`m mostly pissed nowadays seeing as the f*cking consultant banned me from my beloved bikes for another 4 weeks................)

Clearly not as pissed as the boys at MachineArt!

So do you reckon you could knock something up along the lines of the mudsling?

Not sure mate - firstly I haven`t got a mudsling to look at and secondly stuff like this takes a lot of time to design, prototype and make - I`m not sure if you guys are willing to wait?

I`m not being negative.

why the feck its taking machineart soooo long I don`t know but to be fair it does take a long time
