I'm about to take delivery of a pair of Vern's worldbeater panniers. I'm looking at putting some additional rear/indicator lights on the outside edge, as the shortened indicators are hard to see from certain angles with the panniers on. As I plan to leave them on pretty much all the time, I figured some more visible lights would be a good idea.
I like the idea of hyperlites as they have one that includes both rear lights and indicators, which would be a great thing to have out on the far edges of the rear panniers. I was just wondering if anyone else had used these or had opinions on alternatives to consider.

The alternative would be a pair of whelen TIR3's in red for rear lights and another pair in Amber as turn signals, but I'm not sure if you can just extend them from the indicators.
