hyperpro streetbox

The point about hydraulic preload is well made. If the adjustment is difficult it pretty much wont happen. Then one day when ride height really needs to be done the threads will have seized up. I think where access is difficult, a hydraulic preload is a necessary component and not really an accessory.

Sorry for the stereo posting.

Stupidity overcomes competence !

As I normally ride sans panniers, but do load up with topbox, panniers and swmbo a preload adjuster would be a help but in the good old days, I just got down and used a c spanner, knees ain't what they used to be. But then what is ?

An update of sorts; went down the hyperpro route but with high/slow compression and remote preload and springs for my weight.

Excellently packaged and really clear instruction booklet, giving standard settings to work from. Overall, very happy with them but I do regret not going for the purple springs, a little bling doesn't hurt the soul.

4 hours fitting from start to finish.

Now to start setting the suspension for my phenomenal riding style. Note book at the ready.

Hyperpro shocks are excellent - I had a pair on my 1100 - transformed it.

Remote preload is essential for any oilhead onwards BMW rear shock otherwise your taking the shock off every time you want to change the preload (which means you won't do it).
