After nearly two years of putting up with possibly the worst lights ever to grace ten and a half grands worth of motorbike I paid a visit to BTBRs lighting emporium yesterday.
Loads has been written about BTBR and his lights on these hallowed pages and it's all true
so rather than post pictures with the lights on and a write up I thought I'd copy here the email I sent him once I arrived home, sums it all up nicely I think
Well, what can I say?
M42 - outside lane, 90-100 in the rain - no problem despite a VERY cacky visor. Car hogging the lane? No problem they just move out the way and, if they don't, a quick flash of the main beam to burn out their retinas and job's a good 'un
))
I actually took the long way home from Ashby cross country and was so pleased, kept giggling to myself every time I got a chance to put main beam on. At last my GS is pretty much perfect, night riding is no longer a mixture of 'sixpenny bitting' round corners and uncertainty as to what lies ahead.
Thanks for sorting out my bike and for the obvious care and attention you paid to what you were doing. The price you charge is a bargain!
Here's a few piccies of the instalation:
Oh, almost forgot, BTBR has now added to his lunch time menu; veggie sausage sandwiches
