.... which can't be right.
I've only recently started using Firefox and now I can log off from this site but as soon as I reconnect to the site I'm logged on already.
Doesn't happen with internet explorer, doesn't happen with other sites and Firefox isn't retaining my password for this site.
I doubt the problem will keep me awake at nights but just a tadge confusing.
Would be interesting to know the answer if any learned people can help.
Thanks very much.

***Edit*** I lie, happens with ADVrider as well.

Neither do I, IIRC FF asks if you want it to remember the logon details the first time you connect.

I never seem to log on anywhere except bank and HMRC these days

Hello there,

If you've got the latest version of Firefox, if you to select 'Tools', then 'Clear Recent History', under the 'Details' dropdown you will be able to select 'Active Logins'.

That should take away any pre-stored log-in to the site within the browser.

Cheers,

Firefox stores a cookie from the site to save you all that bother;)

Is absolutely correct, as I've just tried it.
At least I know now, thanks all.
