Unable to Log on

I am unable to log on to various sites such as BT, Partnership card (john Lewis) and Sky, I can enter into the website but as soon as I try to log into my account on the various sites my computer just stops.
I have uninstalled my Kaspersky 2010 internet security but with no luck.

The forums I frequent are unaffected, any ideas.

I have windows xp sp3, and have tried Internet explorer, AOL and Mozilla to get into the sites

check the settings on your popup blocker.

These sites are very likely to have popups and i reckon your browser , av prog or similar is blocking them and in turn, freezing the PC.

Try pressing Ctrl/Alt/ Del when it happens and see what's running.....it may be that the PC is actually waiting for a response from you (Ie 'Do you want to allow this popup) but for some reason, it's not visible on the screen

Could also be Java needs updated.

Pop up controls all off, so pop ups are allowed, but I dont have java.... so I will try installing it.

Not able to subscribe to UKGSER!

Having allowed my subs to laps on ukgser I thought I might pay up.
I am no longer able to access my Paypal account, It seams that any web page that is personal to me ie Sky,BT, John Lewis and now paypal I am unable to gain access.
I know that I can pay ukgser using other methods but Paypal is usefull to me( as is ukgser!).
