Thanks Steve, I tried that this morning and its leagues ahead of Itunes but stiull not 100% what I was after. Why didn't I listen to Mr MotoMartin as MediaMonkey seems to be perfect so much so I may well buy the full version....... mind there is a credit crunch on

Thasnks again, IPod very nearly in the skip but temporarily redeemed, its only saving grace it the battery lasts for ages.

I am actually using Media Monkey , but did use Poddox for a while after getting cheesed off with I TOONS .
MM is a good choice ,

Andy - you can upgrade to version 3 Gold for free on their site at the moment. Trial offer eMusic and cancel straightaway. Just done it. Seems like a good deal.

Just to jump on te bandwagon but will mediamonkey work with a sony nwa cos sonic stage or sonic connect or whatever software they use if ferkin sh15e with a capital sh1. It crashes and dies and will not transfer half the music and I will never buy another sony item on principal cos they are pants.

oh yeah, he's kept that totally to himself

i've just been browsing the MM site again and i'm struggling to see what it does that itunes doesn't
i thought that it would upload music from an ipod to a computer, but i can't find reference to such a feature.

edit: i have found it now and it does copy from pod to pc. other than that then, what's so great about it?
this is a purely academic interest as it is windows only and i'm not.
