I know it's a bit lazy of me but...

I have precious little time these days and was hoping someone could help me narrow the field of GPS down a bit.

I have a 2610 which I'm perfectly happy with(ish) but the screen has started to peel and I fear it has come to an end.

So what I need is something I can hardwire to the bike but also use in a car / van if needed.

I don't care about bluetooth or MP3 or any farkle or bling. I don't normally use the audio on the bike - but if I did it would be through my ancient Autocom Active 7.

The only features I would like that the 2610 didn't really do well are 3D mapping (Tom tom sylee) and full postcode search.

I'm more than open to second hand units so please feel free to suggest last year's model


Any suggestions?

Moved on from the 2610 I had before to a 660... works great in the car and got me without fault to southern Austria and back.... and its slim, will fit in your pocket for security ... gets my vote

A 2720 will give you 3D view of your maps and can do a full postcode search. You wouldn't need new mounts etc for the bike as it uses the same as the 2610. They do come up for sale here every now and again.
