Went out for a ride yesterday. Down to Drumnadrochit (Loch Ness) then onto Fort Augustus (end of loch) then on into Glen Garry, Glen Shiel. Turned off to Glen Elg (a pallindrome !) stopped for luch in the hotel (posh place !).

In all after I had filled up in Alness at the start my bike showed 249 miles to go on MPG. So at Glen Elg I still had 276 miles to go :D

Anyway we went over the small ferry to Skye then over the bridge to Kyle of Lochalsh, over to Plockton, bike still showing 245 miles to go.

Then back through Lochcarron and home. Total of approx 180 miles and still had 130 miles left in the tank

Weather was fantastic, up to 24C, brilliant for the Highlands :flag

Wow. Sounds like you really had a fun ride mate. And your mpg is bloody impressive! Enjoy the rest of the season :thumb
