Took my 08 GS into the dealers in Malaga for service and the Service Guy said he'd had a spate of bikes trucked in because the fuel sensor on the left side of the intake had been damaged during emergency braking!!!
Apparently the rider had some how kicked forward with his left leg and clattered the sensor. Sounds like broken shins to me - but hey ho - he said it happens so...
The bike is dead if there is ANYTHING wrong with that sensor so he suggested I get a guard for it.
Anyone know the least nasty looking, lowest cost, easiest available item? I need it sent to Spain and I suspect Touratw*at will fleece me (though I could be wrong
