Right guys ive just purchased my much saved for r1150gsa and on 24k 2003 model,now i needed service bits for it and rang bmw up and ordered the parts,bearing in mind the bike is in really good condition,and i got talking to the parts guy and he said he would let me have the bmw history which is supposedly for bmw dealers eyes only,now it has the normal services and heres the cracker a engine rebuild bearings,pistons,rods,barrels,complete heads and timing rails and chains,not covered by warranty at 10421miles,now at 15459miles cam chain tensioner sticking failure and its had the whole shabang again,
now heres my dilemma ,when its cold it taps hard from the left head for a sec then its gone,then when its hot theres a deep but slight knock which is faint but gets worse when you pull the clutch,but i must emphasise its a real deep low slow knock, what do ya all think, i got it from an old fella who had it for 3 years and got it from bmw previosly, im confuzzed-do i strip down the motor ?and why did bm have to do the job twice,
