Steppers, maybe I can help?

I have an all but brand new (two weeks old) white 60gb Ipod sitting in my desk, cost £199.

I only bought it as I thought I had lost my original pod on some jaunt or other, 10 days later the b-thing turned up. The new one is no use to me.

Yours for say, £150?

Send me a PM if interested.

Richard

To late i'm afraid Daddio.
I've already been forced to pay a visit to the shrine of gadgetness, the Apple store in Regent street.
So i'm now part owner of a 30Gb video photo music pod ( hence my willingness to have a go repairing the old, ancient prehistoric throwaway model), can't just have any old GigBites thing to carry around . It just doesn't cut the mustard with todays in crowd.
I've had my head turned by all sorts of computery things, and shown how easy it all is to work and operate
All for a piddly sum of hundreds of quids for a new this, or, for few more bucks, a this that and the other, that i'll wonder how i did without once i've got it.
Oh well, back to the 25 year old walkman, with some AA batteries. While i save for what i can't do without.

I replaced the battery in my sons mini Ipod cost me £10 and it was a pretty simple operation for anyone with a reasonable level of technical skills. Its still going 4 months later so I would be happy to try replacing a hard drive
