... it's like the Honda Clit has become the BMW Clit .. every **** got one :blast

Should I go for GSA instead of a GS? I have only got short legs and I am scared it might be too big :nenau

You know the answer to that Tom ;)

Standard 1200 GS would suit you better than your current steed.... :thumb

You don't need the range , or the weight, or for that matter the extra weather protection.... Get a 1200GS... It'll fit you like my 'stich . trust me :Motomartin

I have had 1100, 1200 and 1150 GSs before finally buying an 1150GSA (other non BMW stuff too) I loved them all except the 1200. The GSA is heavier and does not handle as sharply as the standard 1150. It is still very good, but there is a payoff in the handling.
The rest of the bike is great and does make up for the 5% ish loss of cornering stability.

I had a 24hr test on a new 1200ADV and the handling on that 2 up was so good I was easily able to split a pack of power rangers on plastic missiles on one of my favorite roads.
I would have bought one until the nice salesman explained the finance structure.
Just too much for me. Sadly.
Really great bike. :drool

I would say if you really worry about whet everyone else has then don't bother... For me, it's about what I want and don't give a flying fcuk about it... I drive the most popular sports car ever built... And I know why it's popular it's bloody fantastic... So think what's best for you and what you want...fcuk everyone else...

GSA is much better. If you are going to buy a penis extension of a bike, you might as well go for XXL :D

Nothing more to be said really.

Go for what you want - don't go for the popular option or weird/unique option just for the sake of what some other bugger thinks.

I've just swapped from K12GT to R12GSA - I see 2 other GSAs on the ride to work quite often and one in the car park when I get there. I can also see 2 GTs on the way and somebody just started parking one at work last week.

I also see a couple of Harleys, the odd Triumph and a very occasional Ducati on the road and a whole bunch of Jap bikes either on the road or in the carpark.

The conclusion I draw from this is that other people ride bikes too - good on 'em and I hope they enjoy theirs as much as I enjoy mine.
