I want a decent pair of waterproof Summer gloves

These are my current favourites, I bought them for trail riding but they're great for the road bike too.

There's some on Ebay

I just picked up a pair of Bering Zeus Gore-Tex, they are reasonable cheap; list price ~115€, can be found cheaper.

I used them yesterday and in ~5C they were ok, but I normally ride in summer gloves all year round (muffs rock) ... but I would guess that they would be great in a summer downpour...

I use the BMW summer rain gloves with the wiper blade all year round - they are fab. If it is really hot then I don't care if my hands get wet so I wear the BMW GS gloves.

any joy on those Linstrands Lord Snooty, as I'm in the market for the same spec summer gloves and was wondering too, about the sizing issues?
Looked at the klims (£150), very very nice but a bit pricey. I wear the Powercross now (£84), superb gloves, worn them for the past two years, all weathers. just started to leak on the visor wipe area, may get some storm seal to see if its fixable, or another pair :nenau so just gathering info

I bought a pair of the Lindstraads as recommended by Tim, they arrived yesterday and I will be wearing them today. I am a size 10 and had to order the XL in their sizing. :thumb

Cheers for that. Had my Klim power cross for three years, not two years, phoned Adventure Spec who say give it 6 weeks when the weather gets hotter send them back and they will test em and decide if I have warranty claim! From Gore or Klim and then go from there. Top service there I thought, so will wait and see.
Good to know how yours are though, now the suns here lol

Should of got the Klim power cross! I use em on and off road, gortex and warm enough all year, with KTM hand guards (even barkbusters) and heated grips

I bought a pair of Klom PowerXross gloves which are currently £84 at Adventure Bike Warehouse http://www.adventurebikewarehouse.c.../BT4672/Products/GL001/SubProducts/GL001-0001

I got them at the same time as a Klim 2 piece suit and have been really impressed with the gloves and the suit.

The gloves felt a little tight to begin with, but have loosened up a tad and are really comfy and waterproof. impressed

If you want a deal mate then let me know. :)

PS.

The Volvo died before Xmas :rose

Yes really good gloves. I always tell fellow bikers and spread the love! Nowt like getting good info from a user I was once told. The adventure gloves are good too, if a little tight. Saved me in a big off the other year, the special foam malarkey did it's job well!
