So it's been two weeks and just over a thousand miles with the Africa Twin since my GS was nicked.

So far I can honestly say the bike does sweet blue buggerall for me. It goes from point A -> B and that's it. Spend 1/2 of today with some hammerite paint to sort out the variaty of rust on the frame.

The motor runs to silent, the grunt is not the same. Brakes - let's just say I have inspected quite a few cars rear ends from very close by the last two weeks. Handling I can't fault yet as it is light and economical.

Although I got this bike at an absolute steal and it sure is a "hack" bike from heaven it is just no a BMW. Coming from me with my track history of the BMW's I have owned it should say a fair amount. I have yet to lay a spanner on this bike(Which is probably a good thing) but that has taken all the fun and excitement out of my biking hobby.

Don't know what it is about beemers but they sure are in my blood.
Now seriously saving up for my next BMW......:spitfire

Cheers
