I'm after stuff like dry sacks and general camping stuff for Europe. Nothing too adventureous just yet....:augie

I've got a load of stuff that I've used in this country and stuff used across Africa too, but who's the best for stuff for Europe?

And what would you recommend putting on the bike, if anything?!

Rossco, spend away, I do .... :D

Welcome to UKGSer, enjoy your stay with us.

I'll budge your thread over to another section of the forum where I think you'll get more answers to the question you asked above.

I have just got my 1200Gs...the first thing I needed was a better screen, I am 6ft tall and the wind buffeting is bad for me...
The other things I have added is a sports exhaust a hugger and a rear bag for short trips!!!!! I have no plans for any off road excursions in the near future, so these add ons suit me...

Aldi are doing their Dry bags from the 26th April, excellent bit of kit :thumb2

jimbogs1200 - tail pack or tankbag? Across Africa the tankbag was invaluable to hold maps etc but a bit of a pain at times due to how they attach to the bike. What's reckon?

Stuart h- I've got my eye on them already!

Thank you Duchess! I'm slowly getting to grips with it all but enjoying it a great deal. Keep up the good work!

Try here for all you need. If you call Les on 01647 25423 I'm sure he'll be able to advise you as to exactly what to, or not to get.

Rossco,
I don't like tank bags, but they can be useful... I bought an Oxford tail bag that fits perfectly if you remove the rear seat...sits low downa nd looks very eat...enough room for a long weekends worth of clothes....just!!!

I've always loved tank bags but would try the tail pack: it'd mean leaving the missus behind though :augie

H.I.D's at least on dip beam (see and be seen) oh and yourself of coarse :thumb2

Sorry, H.I.D's? (Sorry, I am new!) Are they the small fog light style things?

Traveldri ...... speak to Les he knows his stuff and only sells proven quality gear http://www.traveldri-plus.co.uk/

Rossco,
HID.... = High Intensity Discharge (HID) Xenon headlights... they can be replacements for your bulbs, or you can get spotlights as add ons...

The only prob with the tail pack where the rear seat goes is that you can't get your leg over easily... All jokes/puns gratefully accepted..:D
