Hi guys, I've been advised to come to the font of all knowledge here by a mate.
I currently am looking at getting rid of my 600fazer after 2 years and I think I want a bike that can "do it all".
Looking forward to reading lots on here.

I think you need to plant the side stand down when firing for effect with the 38mm.

welcome Kev.... they're even crazier here than on GB Bikers - and if you post any pictures.. for gawds sake make sure the background is OK. no uncut lawns... Unpainted fences and Definitely NO WEEDS.

You get extra Kudos if your GS is a bit.. or even a lot Dirty though.

BM's aren't all expensive these days, 1100 and 1150 GS's are pretty good value now. Though of course, the 1200's are better Let's not get into that though

Go and have a test ride on one, the BMW dealers are more than happy to dish out demo rides, though beware, you might end up doing what I did and end up spending a hell of a lot more than you first budgetted Worth it though

You're right of course, coming from a Fazer he should feel right at home
