It sounds like it is a misunderstood version of the fork crimping issue, which as far as I could see was a storm in a tea cup as it has been resolved - I will take some pics of my bike this weekend and show you what they did - although I think that someone has already posted pics on here.

Here are a couple of pics I stole from Advrider - in the case of bikes that were done in the UK - I believe that the forks were removed instead of it being done in situ as these pics suggest.

They allegedly came from Motorrad magazine??

Oil leak, forks, possible slapper

Oil leak - only happened in Canadia land - if the bikes were shipped by sea it was a rough crossing, George Clooney was the captain of the boat. If they went by air, Denzel Washington was flying the plane!

Forks - Someone somewhere didn't do something and now someone else has done something......sorted.

Possible slapper - software bug - note to dealer - only hand out Enduro Pro plugie thing when bug eradicated ! (Or if the trade in is an 11xxGS).

Simples!

Now, I'm off to put a deposit down on a Boeing Dreamliner - that won't have any problems will it!!
