In Iceland the government runs a competition every year for toddlers. The challenge is to build a bridge from Meccano, old bits of wood, dried macaroni and a splash or two of diesel. The winner has the honour of having their bridge installed on the ring road.

I really rather fancy Iceland , if I could do it on a small enduro bike and spread my kit across everyone else's bikes even better.

I've just started to read this thread from the beginning and I noticed they stated a minimum of 20ltr fuel as a requirement.
Did you carry a fair bit extra, although it looks like you've fitted a large tank, as mine on standard trim doesn't hold much at all?

One day we did 215 miles with no fuel to be had anywhere on that route, it was an epic day.
