Exactly Chris, once you've been hilltopped there no going without it......:D
How much is a re map at hilltops?

They are in Leicester I believe, very close for me so will probably get it done early in the year

Also already asked I know but what differences can I expect? Power wise etc.

This.

Same with mine. It does have a full Akra & Hilltop remap though.:green gri

The Euro4 has some tweaks and changes, but the biggest one is in the heads of some riders.

You can tell that a GS is euro4 by the blue circle in the dash. And the reflector on the fork. And Euro4 spec says that indicator lights should be on at all time. As in constantly lit.

ive heard this sed a few times about the 17 model bein gutless, I don't get it:nenau, mine goes like fook:D

I test rode a 2017 GSA on saturday week ago and apart from smoother power delivery and crisper gear change, it felt no different to my 2014 GS LC. I did like the extra weather protection on GSA, but I doubt it'll be good in a hot country like Spain, Italy, Portugal, etc.

You mean like africa twin? Id like that on a GS/GSA I wonder if it is a dealer activated option?!

They are also fitting an anti clank rubber stopper for the side stand retraction. (of course could be retro fitted)

Nutty what was the before and after from Geoff, as with my old one my 3 day old E4 may be heading oop norf very soon?

New one felt quick but not at the top end, it felt like it was holding back.

Not sure exactly, but it came away with just over 120bhp IIRC. I'm not too bothered about the numbers he gives you, it's how the bike delivers the power afterwards that makes it worthwhile.

And how was it afterwards, noticably different, any worse at low speed revs?

About 95-98 @ wheel, piss poor, you need to hilltop if your used to the previous models, 2013 was the best performer with the light flywheel .

Yes they're going up in value, saw one today, silver engine 14 MY with steering damper - they were fighting over it in the dealers. 30k and rising when I left 🤣

Exactly. Now, I'm not sure if this is indeed a part of Euro4 or some other legislation, but most 2017 bikes I've seen in pictures do seem to have the turn lights permanently on. Like AT, like this FZ10 too. I'm trying to find some info on this.

Sorry, it appears that turn lights do not need to be on permanently. Strange, because the Honda dealer told me so when I test rode at Africa Twin.

Much smoother all way through the range, and it pulls better from lower down. Most of the flat spots have gone now.
