identify this side stand bar part please?

Apparently fits side stand to make it easier ?

Are you sure it doesn't attach to the rear subframe so it can be used as a "lifting" handle to help put the bike on the centre stand.

came with some other bits, i was told i goes on side stand
Doesn't look too homemade so I thought someone may know.

The GSA side stand can be a nightmare to retract so if you don't want that widget I'll have it
(assuming it does the job of course).

looking at the size of it, it looks like part of an engine protection bar set up, cant see how it will help with the side stand...

I'm sure I've seen something like that before on here. It does fit on the side stand and fits where the bend is but the opposite way. Supposed to make it easier to reach the side stand whilst sitting on the bike, I've never had a problem though.

I'm sure someone will have more info

I can struggle to retract my side stand especially when on uneven ground. But a longer M6 bolt on the stand's foot extender would do just as well.
