I went last Saturday. I thought I was going to be blown away but it went way beyond my expectations. Well done to everyone at CERN for making it such an interesting day. Brilliant organisation and great explanations and demos. They even managed to make me understand what it is they do. 
The highlight, obviously, was the underground visit. I can't begin to describe the sheer scale of the detectors (thousands of tons cathedral sized chambers etc.) compared to the size of the tubes the beams are fired down (5cm)
If ever they do it again GO!
