As you may have guessed i'm painting Camille myself. She will be done in replica 1985 marlboro sceme. What i'm thinking is if your interested i'll do a step by step photo thread to show how to do a replica job. This will give an idea on the process, layout and technique used for anyone who fancies doing the same.
I'll try not to make to many cock ups:blast

jobs a good un

ok then, I'll try to make it a detailed expenation without being boring. The first thing i need to do is get all the decals cut and finish rubbing the tank down.
This should be fun, by the way feel free to ask questions as we go along, I'll be using a mixture of airbrushes and detail spray guns, The paint will be two pack for the main colours and autoair water based colours for the detail bits, this is because they are easy to mix to ge the right shade of colour and are idea for small areas. I'll them give the whole thing a clear coat of Lechler hydrofan which is a very nice clearcoat with good UV protection.
We'll start with prep on the tank and getting a layer of plastic primer to bond the paint to the HPN tank.
Photo's to follow.
