Ignition coil replacement

Hi everyone, I have put a deposit down on a 1200 gsa 2011. It has only done around 800 miles but I have found out it has its ignition coil replaced already. Is this a common fault and should I be worried about it?

Are you serious ?? I'd be worried if it was faulty and hadn't been replaced.

I had to fit a new lower coil to my 1200GSA as it failed at around 9000 miles. My previous bike also needed a new lower coil ( a standard 1200 GS).

Not a common failure, I guess I was just unlucky and it hasn't stopped me enjoying over 50,000 miles of riding a GS.
