Looking at installing a tracker to my 2009 GSA but where is the best place to tap into for an ignition controlled feed?

there is no " best place" .
brake light circuit , horn circuit , somewhere after a switched fuse is good.
if you are asking ....are you sure you are up to it ?

Definitely up to it. Was just asking for a common pick up point
if that is your 1150 , you could hide it in the electrics box under the seat ?

I no longer have the 1150GSA however I do now have a 2009 1200GSA
