Hi
My recently acquired 100k mile 100RT refused to start the other day... It had been slightly misfiring on start up which I put down to the choke set-up in the carb needing a sort but this is a no spark issue...
The bike has had a fairly recent new coil and the coil is getting voltage, the ignition module is also getting voltage and the front cover is off and there are no trapped wires to the Halls Effect sensor... After many years of boxer twins i may had had my 1st Halls Effect failure??
The day before it had been harder to start and had a couple of misfires when running and then total spark failure... Am i on the right path? Is there any more in depth way to check the HES... Also Rob Farmer has been mentioned in a previous thread as the man to get sensors from if you fancy a HES rebuild...?
Battery is OK and the ignition switch and kill switch seem OK and everything else is operating....
Thanks in advance...
