ignition problem

Im having a problem when i turn the ignition on on my 1200gs. 2006 bike. That nothing comes on the dash. I have been into bmw glouster and they say it sounds like ignition switch.has any one else had this problem please.

Hi R.B I had the same problem on my 07 GSA took it to the dealer he changed the conecters on the bottom of the ignition. It's been ok for the last 2/3 weeks.
Could be the same problem ,good luck.

Had similar on my 06 GSA very intermittent, sprayed with WD40 (not sure why) but touch wood been OK for last couple of months.

I replaced the ignition switch on the bottom of the barrel. Sorted mine out. Cost about 80. Quid from what I remember.

Thanks chaps. I shall order a new swich. Off to morroco and spain in two weeks dont want to get stuck there...
