Ignition switch assembly

Ok before i buy a new one i thought i would have a quick look at the ignition switch assembly and give it a clean unfortunatly the small silver fork fell out on dis-assembly anyone know where abouts that fits in the scheme of things i can't see a natural place for it to fit other than amybe on the small spring that has nothing on it but even that doen't seem exactly a natural fit. Any ideas before it hits the bin and i just plump for a new one. I checked the net but can't find anything showing the assembly in an exploded view or any pictures........Cheers

Purely guess but does it drop down over the spring?

Over the spring rings a bell, but I reserve the right to be wrong because it was a couple of years ago...

Over the spring. It makes contact between the leftmost two brass contacts on the right hand part in your picture and slides around the raised nylon rib when the turning part is in other positions
