Most of the issues with filtering are in the head, as the mind tends to make gaps seem smaller than they really are. The GSA is a big bike, but the more you filter on it the less your mind tends to warp the gaps.
I have no issues keeping up with the scooters in central London. I commute from W4 in West London to Canary Wharf daily and go through quite a bit of heavy traffic doing quite a bit of filtering as I pick my way across town. Rarely do I get a co*k on a (skinny) sports bike up my arse wanting to go faster because I'm filtering pretty much as fast as them.
Each to their own for sure; but I can't see that a Triumph Speed Triple is going to make that much of a difference to ease of filtering. Enjoy. But you wouldn't catch me on a naked bike in this cold weather!

The engine sounds so much better than the BMW 12 especially with a pair of race cans on it
