Can anyone tell me whats involved with importing a Bike from Southern Ireland, I know i will have to re-register it but will i have to pay import duty, VAT etc ?

No you should not have import duty. Ask the owner if it was already registered in UK if it was its a piece of pish
BTW I have only ever done it to Southern Ireland, so wait for some confirmation

looks like your OK as long as all taxes where paid in the country of origin (in EU that is...)
