I swopped bikes with a friend who had a BMW Akrapovic exhaust on his 1200 ADV and screwed its nuts off over a hundred or so miles in mid wales.
£420 notes it cost him (he said)
I don't think it's done much for the motor..ie it didn't feel as good as the original, especially between 4-5000rpm.
But the 'baffle out' noise sounded like a case of the over-runs (shits) strained through a handerchief, muted burblefarts. A stark contrast with an 1150 with no Cat and Remus 'ME109 sounding' pipes.
What a waste of crinklies!
I guess if you're going to go for the after market exhaust route, it's got to be un CATed remus headers.
Anyone else formed radically different impressions of the Akra set up.
