Independents in Wiltshire

Well after 5 years with my nose pressed up against the glass I've finally taken the plunge and got myself a 1150GSA (waits for applause to die down). Needless to say it could do with a service and I wondered if anyone could recommend an independent in Wiltshire?

Not in Wiltshire but if your willing to ride to Cardiff then Cardiff Motorrad (Independant) is very good and he runs an 1150GSA himself. He can sort of do it while you wait.

I take mine there from Bristol.

Also, Bristol Motorrad have just lost the BMW Franchise and are going to carry on as an Inpependant so hopefully at better rates. Maybe worth a look.

Depending on how adventurous you want to be they are fairly easy to do yourself with the right tools and time. There is loads of info on the net about what's required. I didn't have the time to get to a garage so did each bit in the evenings over a couple of weeks.

Good idea, I fancy trying that myself over this winter.

I do usually do my own servicing on the other bikes ... but thought I'd like someone who actually knows what they're doing to check it out first, rather than my bash it with a hammer and see what falls off approach!
