Indian Visas !

Folks, Has anyone on here applied for the 1 month Indian E Visa lately at all please ? The 1 month E Visa would suit my needs (I go over there for a few weeks in August), BUT im lead to believe processing times are long and given that i cant apply for it until a few week before I go , this seems rather risky !? The yearly Visa is quicker to be processed (apparently).
How long did it take you to get the 1 month E Visa, and how much was it please ?

I had a 1-year business e-Visa, and that took less than a week the first time, and barely 2 days on a renewal.

My Indian visa took months to come through and they 'lost' all my proofs of ID to boot.
That was a few years ago though so probably entirely irrelevant.

I apply every year, last time was six months ago. Two to three days max, cost is around $30 to $40, depending on how far in advance you apply. Very easy process. I keep it simple and answer all questions in a way that won’t trigger more questions… Good luck

Mine came through today. I had some queries along the way - the Indian visa service responded to each incredibly quickly. Very impressive service.

I got six months, multiple entry for five years in 48 hours, from memory as it runs out this year.
