Since owning my 1200GS (which I think is fantastic) I find the cancel button on the right side a bit of a pain. I was wondering about changing the wiring with the horn switch to relocate the cancel to the left side which would make accelerating and cancelling the indicators easier. I looked at a wiring diagram and tried this morning to swap the wires in the terminal block where they go into the electronic box under the tank. I have two questions. 1. Would the wire swap work or can it cause problems? 2. How do the terminals come out of the blocks? I tried for ages this morning to remove the wires without any luck and gave up before I cause any damage. I tried sliding a cut feeler guage down the sides of the terminals but it didn't work as the usually have a little locating tang on them. Any ideas would be of great help as I think the swap if possible would be great. Or should I buy a Triumph Explorer which has (normal) switches!!!

I m new here to be honest but i'm sure someone will be along soon with a full solution but somewhere there is an aftermarket switch solution for this, i have found this at Nippy Normans ahttp://www.nippynormans.com/products/autoswitch

i'm not sure if this sorts out the problem too but i have seen other items somewhere !
