indicator switch

the left indicator switch ( orange plastic bit has come adrift can see a bit of day light other switch right is flush)

any thing I should know before I open it up and have a look


oh bikes a 1100GS abs 94 is year of birth for it
 
yep you dont need to open it up, there is small screw that holds the plastic bit on, the plastic bit you press is replaceable, if you can find a replacement.
I managed to get a set were the insides were knackered from someone on the forum and just replace the part I needed to.
 
ordered them where does the wee fixing screw live

initially in a little plastic bag but it should be re-homed in the screw hole which is probably cleverly located in a position such that you have to dismantle the entire bike starting at the rear light.:beerjug:
 
yeah it looks like that packer

hand guards and mirror are now off
needto work out what screws bolts needed to open up the switch gear feking too warm here and finished night shift this morning

need a rest
 
fek me job done didn't need to take of mirror , handguards one screw splits the switch gear then its a 5 second job arggghhhhhh
