Hi,
I posted this earlier in the Airhead section by mistake... One of my front indicators ( right one ) on my R1100RT keeps coming loose due to the three little push in studs being damaged. Some of the female connectors on the indicator assembly itself have teeth missing or broken off so that when you attach the indicator it does not go on securely. I have bought small retaining wires which have caught the indicator as it falls off while riding. I bought the bike secondhand so do not know what happened in the past.
Have any of you out there had a similar problem? It looks like the connectors are part of the complete assembly which means I might be looking at buying a complete indicator unit, which I think is ridiculous. Are there any known fixes for this or another way of sorting out this frustrating problem?
