Indicators staying on

Hello there

Just put some new indicators on my 1100 ......I bought it damaged so I have never had them working but now they will not turn off or cancel

I can get one side flashing and even if I take the key out still flashes away ....... I have left it for tonight and hopefully will find an easy fix tomorrow

Just hoping someone has the answer to save me hunting

They will go off when the batteries dead

Mine did the same about 4 weeks ago after I washed the bike, this was nothing to do with the fault, I found a live short under the fuse box, it took a while to find it
