Parklife here. You see, just when you thought it was safe!...
Having come from a predominant Motorcycle City background, there are just a few things you should know about the takeover...
When I was there (in the mid 1990's), one of the directors was a chap called Rob Puttick, who, at roughly the time of Motorcycle City's sale to the Carnells Group, decided to set up on his own as Infinity Motorcycles - mainly as a clothing retailer.
His business has grown and grown to what it is today; a successful clothing retailer with several retail outlets in the London area.
I won't bore you with the in's and out's of it all, but rest assured, people, Rob is not only a top fellow with an exceptionally sound understanding of the motorcycle industry, but has been tremendously shrewed in having had the foresight to follow the Motorcycle City/Carnell/Riossi saga from day one and has subsequently acted at what would seem to be the right time, when the value and moral of Riossi has reached an all-time low.
So, to all those of you who have existing dealings with Riossi, my advice is don't worry, as knowing Rob personally, I think you're in good hands.
