As I was proceeding down the A697 last Sunday, I passed a sign for Ingram - a place where our Mam & Dad would take us for picnics, on Sundays, when we were nippers.
I decided I'd have to have ride - up, just for old time's sake.
So I was off-out at the crack of 11, up the A697 and turned off for Ingram
First stop: A ford I've done on me 650 before..
...but not today
On up the valley:
...the valley is a dead end for motors, so I turned around and headed back...
Awful, isn't it? .....and so crowded
Crossed over the main road and headed roughly east for the coast.
Chatton Mast, where I've worked a few times when I was on "Private Circuits".
Can you see the coast in the distance? .....and signs of "civilisation" - A burned-out Hi-Lux on the right?
"Afternoon ladies!"
...then a quick blast down the A1 and home.
Time for a beer...
