I've just purchased one of these to fit on my 1250GSA, any suggestions, hints, tips etc on fitting before I dive in tomorrow in an amateur and uninformed manner? :D

Watch some YT videos and you'll be informed.

I’m fairly sure I have an old Innov K1 system floating around somewhere. Almost definitely no longer a supported platform but it had a quality feel to it. Cameras were set in billet aluminium blocks. Been thinking recently I might like to look at a current system.

I'm assuming the Innov stuff is still similar across various models

I spent a pleasant afternoon in the sunshine fitting the Innovv system. After pondering on where to fit the front and rear cameras I decided to mount the front one on the beak using the sticky 3M pad supplied and mounted the rear camera underneath the topbox rack. When you have made the decision on where to mount them and have done so then it is all about sorting the wiring out. I connected the power to the USB connection up front and turned the ignition on and opened the App It came up with Innovv WiFi which I connected to no problem, it says there is no internet but I assume this is normal, I checked and both cameras were working although the rear was a bit cockeyed which I rectified. I then formatted the SD card,. When that was done it was all about routing the wires and extensive use of cable ties and the sticky backed cable tidies supplied in the kit to tidy the installation up. It was all very straightforward and I just took my time.
Thanks for the help and guidance everybody.

The only panel I took off was the one on the tank over the fuel cap 20250425_153202.jpgand I also removed the seats, that was it.

Hi, This Link shows how and where I fitted my K6 under the Beak.

I can see the wires. Can't you tuck them under the beak and come up the back of the camera?

Good idea, I'll have a go, here's a pic of the rear installation

If you loosen off the seat mount, you can tuck the wire underneath it, between the brake light and hide it. That's what I did with my innov 3rd eye. I used the nut on the top box catch to secure it dead centre under the plate.
I'll post up a picture when I get home

That looks much better.
Here's mine. I put the camera in the red reflector above the licence plate. You could fit it to the top box mount, like I did with 3rd eye. You can see the cable through the top box mount running down the back of brake light and under the seat mount.

The front camera is going in the grille, underneath the headlight.
