Has anybody had any problems with the Sat Nav falling out of the 2014 WC cradle? Mine is a BMW Nav 1V and have had a problem. Fell out a couple of times going over bumps which I managed to catch. Then lost it after going over a bump on the autobahn and it was trashed. No doubt whatsoever that the unit was properly mounted. Unfortunately it fell under the bars and jammed the steering which was fun. Could have been interesting!

Yep....... After riding for 3 miles, mine shot out of it's cradle and smashed itself to smithereens.

I used to just clip it in and ride. You do have to clip it in and engage the lock........................ Well I do now anyway. Seems very solid when done properly.

I have always been extra careful about the cradle as I thought it looked flimsy. Will be interesting to see what BMW say.

I've now upgraded to the newer Garmin590LM............... Seems solid enough in it's Garmin mount, but no lock on the bike function.

Not sure about the mount looking flimsy, I feel it's more about making sure the thing is clicked in correctly...................

Been using the 660 for 4 years now (same mount as the the Nav IV & V) without any problems.
And the Nav V on my RTLC is also solid.

Just make sure it clicks in. Unless of course, you have a faulty mount :nenau
