Inside the Ducati factory

Typical BS AI commentary, including, inexplicably, more coverage of the Kawasaki and BMW production line, but interesting to see Ducati have moved with the times and invested heavily in more modern better quality production. Not had a single issue with mine in the several thousand miles put up since bought and fuelling has been spot on. The comments on reliability are likely taken from an AI trawl through old ducati forum posts, as they're now as reliable as most Japanese bikes for the most part. Audi investment has moved the game on for them.

Visited way back in 2014. Had to park my KTM 1190 on the street as they don’t let in anything other than Ducati riders. Wasn’t too worried as that side of the street was in the shade but still was 36 degrees when the tour had finished. Really worthwhile to visit and I’d love to do it again.

I walked from the hotel as I knew I couldn’t go in with my GS, I’d reserved in advance which is obligatory

Stayed at hotel Amadeus in Borgo Panigale, just a few minutes walk from the factory, nice hotel with secure underground parking (y)

Only found out yesterday that Ducati used to make cameras (there was one on Flog It).

It’s one of the best museums I’ve been to with the factory visit a must.

You don’t need to be a Ducati fan, but it helps.

Went in 2019 on a Mugello trip and it was really good and interesting too but they kept you well away from the racing stuff obviously. Eight of went with no one on a Ducati so they made us park round the side.

Well worth it.

Paul Smarts Imola winning 750 which now has pride of place in the museum sat gathering dust with the rest of the second stock (well it was mounted on the wall) at his Honda dealership in Maidstone for many years. Unassuming as was Paul himself

I am off to WDW this year and hoping to stop past the Factory on the way.
Well worth the visit, I'm riding to MotoGP Mugello leaving the bike with friends for a few weeks then returning for WDW.

Both the factory & museum are well worth it as is the outlet store at the top of the road.

Been there (y)
(The Ducati factory)
Me too. Was great.

I popped in the first time I was bringing a new motorhome to UK from factory near Pisa in 2016.

I’d driven during the night and parked at the (quiet) Ducati gate. Woke up to a very busy street as the workers piled in around 6am. A lovely lady took a group round and kindly spoke English.

I copped the Ferrari shop in the afternoon.
