I bought an SD card - failed
So returned and now sat with DVD arrived....

Just bought a DVD map from Garmin for my 660 in readiness for Autumn trip to the NW US & Canada.
This device itself works fine. I have LM updates and Garmin Express always works first time updating EU maps in Basecamp & device.....
I went DVD to have both Basecamp and device maps, as recommended by Garmin support.

First time I try to install it pops up a window recommending that I choose to download from server to get latest map version (s o the inventory is out if date between the warehouse and delivery??)- anyway, great! I am told this is a one-time offer and if I reinstall I don't get the updates...
When I try it fails to contact Garmin server (I am on-line honest).
Now when I retry (as instructed on screen) I don't get download and it still can't contact the server despite not asking the question this time.. Dead end....
UK support works office hours only - can anyone suggest anything as I am now sat here for the weekend?
