Hello,
I want to load my Mapsource and files onto a netbook that doesn't have a disk drive. Is there a way i can do it? short of buying an external disk drive?

You could call Garmin (0808 238 0000) and see if they'll put a download on your My Garmin account. Or borrow a CD drive...

I'm with Tim on this.

I bought a remote USB DVD-RW drive for about £30. They take no space! See eBay 170456662176 for example (but there are loads to choose from).

Thank you all

for your advice and offer of help - I think I'll get myself an external CD drive and take it from there.

Or just download Mapsource and install it (and yes, it is very possible, nay, easy) then email yourself the GPX/GDB/Whatever files from wherever else they are....

Mapping is a bit more dodgy, but equally do-able (and morally ok as far as I'm concerned, as long as you've bought the discs originally and now just want them on another machine like this)
