Instruments Backlight colour chage

Just reading a post onthis site, where a geezer had changed the colour of the backlight in his speedo & rev-counter on an 1100GS.

I know it's a bit Vauxhaul Nova but like the idea of blue lights on my 1200GS

anyone know if it's possible? Wot with the LCD stuff and that?

Should be Red

Backlights for night driving should be red not blue, red is much easier on the eyes and helps your night vision, blue has the opposite effect and may shorten your vision at night, stick to red.

This is one area where BMW have got it right, all vehicle manufacturers should adopt red backlights for instruments.

Tell that to VW then. all their car clocks are blue

I notice you're in South Yorks. don't supppose you have any engine bars fitted? and if so, which ones?

I can't decide between H&B or SWM's.
