Insurance query

Hiya wondered if any of you could put any light on my insurance issues.
I am on a multibike policy, which I have Bandit 6 and 12 for £250 and i have recently renewed (last week). I have asked for quote on gs1150 v reg and they said I need to pay an extra £227, i said is that group 13 and they said under the bike policy i have its 18, are they taking mick or what? Is this a reasonable quote, I dont know how im going to get around this.

Any suggestions, I said I could do it on another policy he said you would have to start again with no claims though. I am planning to at least get rid of 6 but at this price, the 12, will have to go. He did suggest this would not make any difference to overall price of policy.

Why not ring around a few companies and ask for other quotes - you're clearly not getting what you want from this one.

BMW Insurance & Carole Nash seem to be the brokers of choice...

People will generally help out with advice on these forums, LMS. But in this case, you've asked a question that only an insurance broker could answer, haven't you?

I have been members of other groups and insurance usually does encourage much discussion. No you might not be able to discuss my specific details just general friendly banter would be nice. I wouldnt have legally bound someone to comment. Im very enthusiastic about getting my GS 1150 just want to share it with you.
