Just insured my 1150 gs with Hastings, first they quoted £239 fully comp, so i told them i had a lower quote, it ended up they said £182! thats not too bad

Count yerself lucky....very lucky.....that's about what I pay for Third party only in Belgium

Gecko is right that insurance for fully comp over here is a joke. For me it isn't a problem as I always park somewhere safe and have a garage. Also If I have an accident It will almost certainly be the cars fault. (I hope so anyway, last time it was the case www.cluin.com/moto )
But european law allows the fully comp insurance to be taken out in any european country so Gecko maybe you should check it out!
