Insurance

CN have AA for all europe
Adeliade cover fully comp but no break down or recovery unless bike under 4 year old
Quinn only do 3rd party abroad

so if going away to EU CN best bet.

not going anywhere other than uk or ireland, own 1 bike only, well quinn cheapest.

2 or more then go else where.

Adeliade today were 613 for me on a 99 xjr1300 and 50 extra for all other bikes.

CN are 780 but only giving slight discount on 2nd bike. CN do give full EU AA breakdown though

Went with CN last year and after some going back and forward between CN and Adelaide, I got it for €444 with CN.
Got this years renewal in the post last week form CN for €486 for the same policy.
Rang Adelaide and reduced the bikes value from €5k to €4k and they came in at €395. So back to CN and dropped the value with them and they came in at €379.
Just got a call from them 5 minutes ago to ask if I was going with them and I bluffed to say that Adelaide had come back at €355 so CN dropped to €349 so I renewed with them over the phone.
So although I dropped the value of the bike, it is some difference to what they started at so it pays to make calls (Or Bluffs:augie) and play them against each other.

yes once they ehar another insurer willing go lower they happily drop price

still shows how much they make on people who dont barter for better deal

same same....

same every year lads...
they send out stupid renewal price, you have to ring all four companies...

quinn
carole
adelade
aon

I got renewal quote from CN for 616
rang around the 4 companies, adelade would do 360
rang CN back and the dropped to 316!!!

Its hard to know whos getting a good deal, age, where you live, bike, where its kept, all effects the quote.
One thing for sure they are a shower of w*nkers!

Thank F**k I live in the North. £123 fully comp for a 1 year old fully loaded 1200GS. I assume you guys earn alot more that us to pay that much ?:nenau
