Been quoted 300 notes for multi cover for 4 bikes. Does this sound ok ish

how would we know? We have no idea of the variables that apply in your case such as age, points, postcode, miles ridden, the value of the bikes involved etc etc.
maybe ask a different broker for a quote to get a reference ...

Sounds ok to me in principle, assuming bikes are “full size” as it were
